What Makes Model Mugging Different from Other Self Defense Programs?
Model Mugging is the original full-force reality-based self-defense training program created in 1971. It is the first self-defense program to use padded assailants, adrenalized simulations, and psychological preparation to teach participants how to effectively fight back under stress.

Can I Purchase the Padded Assailant Protective Equipment?
Our protective body armor provides our students with the opportunity to safely practice full-force strikes. As the originators of the padded assailant, we have the best protective body armor. However, it is only available for certified Model Mugging instructors.
Adrenaline stress training encompasses much more than just practicing strikes against someone wearing a protective suit. Our students’ emotional and physical safety is a priority during training. For a certified Model Mugging Instructor, using the padded attacker in Adrenaline Stress Training is just one factor among many that contributed to the evolution of martial science.
